New Design: Madrid

Introducing Madrid – our second new design release of 2012. Madrid is also the second design to be available in 12 classy color schemes (Amavi is the other) and features a larger screen format and space for lots of (SEO friendly) text on the homepage.

Madrid is actually a rework of our popular Melrose (now retired) design – we took the Melrose design and made it bigger and more user-friendly and then added a designated area for homepage text, contact details and a broker logo.

Feature in focus: MLS IDX integration

Style Agent gives you the freedom to use any MLS IDX system of our choice. We can even integrate multiple IDX systems if needed, the choice is yours! Simply provide us with your MLS IDX system and we’ll integrate it for you.

You do have options on where you can acquire an MLS IDX search feed for your website…

Option 1: Contact your local MLS and ask them for a search link that can be framed within your website. This is usually the more affordable option but it still may be subject to fees charged by your MLS. Please note, the IDX search will vary in performance and appearance depending on your local MLS board. Click on the screenshot below to open an example.

Option 1: IDX direct from local MLS board (Orange County, California)

Option 2: Use an advanced IDX system provided by a third-party vendor such as iHomefinder, IDXbroker, Wolfnet mlsfinder, etc. Advanced IDX systems usually cost more than a feed provided by your MLS board, however they do usually include many more features and enhanced lead generating capabilities. Option 2: IDX from third-party IDX vendor (SpatialMatch™)

Option 3: Ask your Broker! Some Brokerages such as Windermere and Coldwell Banker offer excellent IDX tools for their agents to use in their personal websites. Click on the screenshot below to open an example.

Please note: Regardless of which IDX system you decide on, there are no additional costs from Style Agent – just choose the option that suits your needs.
